Techly is a job portal that specializes in providing exceptional job opportunities in the technology and innovation field. They strive to bridge the gap between innovative leaders and top-notch candidates with the mission to connect them within the technology and innovation industry.
The user interface (UI) of current job portals does not meet the needs of job seekers in the technology sector. The design and branding are often outdated and do not provide a positive user experience. Disclaimer: The goal of this project is to design an aesthetically pleasing user interface that utilises proper styling, without conducting any user experience research.
Design Process
Bringing UI Screens Together
To ideate and evaluate the UI concepts, a compilation of UI screen mood boards was created. This approach allowed for a visual exploration and comparison of different design options, leading to a more informed decision on the final UI design.
Applying Creative Ideas to User Interface Design
Various UI concepts, such as angular blurred gradient, gradient accent, and neon UI effect are applied throughout the design to achieve a contemporary aesthetic. Components were thoughtfully placed with the consideration of Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) to ensure optimal usability without sacrificing aesthetics.
Presenting the Final UI
The entire process of creating the UI screens, from the initial concept to the final designs, took only an hour to complete. Mockups were used to present the screen as part of overall aesthetics.
